What will happen when I have submitted my application?

If you have applied for April 2024 intake, we will process and issue the relevant letters to you. If your application is successful, we will issue you with a conditional offer subject to meeting the entry requirements based on the actual SPM grades. You will be able to provisionally register with the University (with the conditional offer) and start your classes in April 2024.

If you opt to apply for the September 2024 intake, we will assume that you plan to wait for the actual SPM grades to be officially released before registering. If that is the case, you will need to submit the actual SPM grades before registration.

What should I do after receiving the conditional offer?

You are required to accept your offer and pay a non-refundable course deposit of RM1,000 upon accepting your offer. Please refer to the "Accept your offer" page for further details.

We strongly advise you to read the information provided in the "Welcome to the University of Nottingham Malaysia" document before accepting your offer. This link is also available in your offer letter.

I have accepted my offer. What happens now?

Registration will open approximately four weeks before your start date. Please check the "When to Apply" page for details. You will receive an email to your personal email account to guide you on the actions you need to take.

What do I need to know before registering with the University?
Signing an agreement of understanding

Students who register provisionally using their official forecast grades from schools will be required to sign an agreement of understanding outlining the terms and conditions for provisional registration.

Provide evidence of your qualifications

You are still required to meet the minimum requirements of the programme for which you have registered once the actual SPM results are released.

Deadlines for submitting your actual SPM grades

You are responsible for submitting your actual SPM grades no later than one week after the release of the official results. The Admissions Office will write to you with further details once the date of the release of the actual SPM results is confirmed.

Considering your results

We have a well-established process in place to consider students who have not met the conditions of their offer once SPM results are released. Students who have missed the terms of their offer will not automatically be unsuccessful. We will closely examine the results and make a decision.

Please note that all decisions made by the Admissions Committee are final, and no appeals will be entertained.

I have met the actual SPM grades requirement

You will receive written confirmation from the University, and your registration will be converted to a full registration status.

High Achievers’ Scholarships (HAS)

The High Achievers’ Scholarships (HAS) are available on an automatic basis to all academically-qualified students who have met the criteria as published on our website.

Offers of scholarships will only be made once the University receives your actual SPM results.

I have not met the actual SPM grades requirement

You will receive written confirmation from the University. You will not be able to continue with the programme or progress to the second semester, even if you have met the University progression rules. The actual SPM grades requirement must be met without exceptions. We will not entertain any further appeals from students or parents.
