Each module is available at two levels:

Level 1 (IELTS 5.5) for students who need additional preparation time to improve their English proficiency

Level 2 (IELTS 6.0) for students with intermediate proficiency or who have completed Level 1

*Students who need to improve their IELTS score by 1 band must enrol in Level 1 and Level 2; students who need to improve by 0.5 IELTS points shall enrol in Level 2 only.

Flexible Timings for Your Success

The PSE programme is intended to be offered twice per academic year:

Mar Intake: First 10-week session for students requiring a 1-point IELTS increase.
June Intake: Additional 10-week session for students needing a 0.5-point increase.

With these timings, students will complete the programme by mid-August, allowing sufficient time for a potential IELTS re-take if they do not initially meet their target scores. This schedule ensures that students still have ample time to meet the language requirements ahead of the September undergraduate intake.
