Assistant Professor in Computer Science
The University of Nottingham is a global, research lead, University with campuses in the UK, Malaysia and China. In Malaysia it is based on a purpose built, picturesque, 125-acre campus at Semenyih in Selangor, which is now home to over 4,500 students and within commuting distance from Kuala Lumpur. The School of Computer Science at the University of Nottingham Malaysia Campus (UNMC) offers undergraduate and postgraduate degrees, and has active research in areas including: computer vision; evolutionary computing; human-computer interaction; intelligent agents; machine learning; neural computation and operations research.
Applications are invited for an academic post, at the level of Assistant Professor, in the School of Computer Science, UNMC.
We are seeking talented computer scientists who will participate in teaching, administration and research. Candidates must have a PhD, and a proven track record of teaching and research publications at a very high level. The successful candidate will be expected to develop multi-disciplinary research, and to build partnerships with existing University research projects in both Malaysia and the UK.
