Nottingham subjects among the best in the world
Description
Subjects taught at The University of Nottingham are among the best in the world according to a new league table. This year's 'QS World University Rankings by Subject', features Nottingham as an elite institution in 37 of the 46 subjects surveyed. The ranking also features 21 Nottingham subjects in the global top 100, and seven in the top 50.

A rising badminton star from The University of Nottingham has won gold at the United Kingdom national University championships. Li Lian Yang, 24 and a Malaysian national, scooped the Women's singles title at the British Universities and Colleges Sport (BUCS) National Championships, defeating fellow Malaysian Lyddia Cheah 2-1 in Sheffield this weekend.

Yayasan Sime Darby commits an additional RM1.9 million towards research on elephant ecology and conservation. In an effort to save the gentle giants of Malaysia, Yayasan Sime Darby (YSD) is extending support for the Management and Ecology of Malaysian Elephants (MEME) project with a RM1.9 million commitment for another three years from Jan 2017 until Dec 2019.
