Nottingham’s favourite alumna Professor Christine Ennew, the Provost and Chief Executive Officer of Malaysia Campus, will be leaving to United Kingdom after leading the Malaysia Campus for more than three years.
She will be organizing a reunion for MBA graduates at her residence in Bangsar on 7 May 2016. Recently she met with Nottingham alumni who are staff members at the Malaysia Campus for a high tea to get to know staff members in an informal setting.
Professor Ennew’s constant encouragement and vision had inspired the Alumni and Donor Relations Office to develop a strategy to enhance alumni relations, develop philanthropic initiatives and consolidate numerous charitable events of the University under the UNMC Foundation.
Under her guidance, the UNMC Foundation Inaugural Benefactors Evening will be held on 9 May 2016 to raise funds to support the education of the underprivileged. The event will be held at Glasshouse Seputeh and is open to alumni interested in becoming part of the Foundation.
The Alumni Laureate Awards that commenced in Malaysia in 2013 are another one of Christine’s efforts and this year’s Dinner Party will be held on 24 September 2016.
Our annual Life Cycle Malaysia event will be held on 15 October 2016 to raise funds for the underprivileged and to instill the cycling habit to promote sustainability on campus.
We bid farewell to Christine as Provost and Chief Executive Office of the Malaysia Campus but we will always be in touch with her as one of our favourite alumni.
