Inaugural Benefactors Evening
The UNMC Foundation will be organizing the Inaugural Benefactors Evening on Monday 9 May 2016 at the Glasshouse Seputeh, Kuala Lumpur from 6.30pm-10pm. The event is organized to introduce the UNMC Foundation, its objectives, plans and aims to Nottingham friends and alumni. The evening will be attended by Vice-Chancellor Professor Sir David Greenaway, Provost and Chief Executive Officer, Professor Christine Ennew and staff, alumni and friends of the University. The evening includes performances by Nottingham students and a special auction.
The event is also aimed at creating partnerships for the Foundation to realize its dreams. Those interested in becoming part of this significant moment in the history of the University of Nottingham Malaysia Campus are invited to contact us to become a lifetime partner of the UNMC Foundation.
Life Cycle Malaysia 3
Life Cycle Malaysia 3 will be held on 15 October 2016, for the third consecutive year, to raise funds for the UNMC Foundation in support of education for the underprivileged or disadvantaged to help them realize their potential.
The event aims to raise RM100, 000 to support outreach programs as well as provide scholarships for marginalized local students. The event also aims to encourage participation in sports to promote healthy lifestyle and environmental sustainability.
The event is organized in partnership with the Nottingham’s Riders Club, a student venture, which holds monthly bicycle clinics on the second Wednesday of each month (or third for months with five Wednesdays ) from 5.30-6.30pm on campus to provide information on cycling, motivation and training to participate in the event.
