Internet Explorer 6 Browser Settings
These instructions should guide you through the simple steps of changing the following settings in the Internet Explorer 6 Web Browser:
Change the Text Size
- Click View on the top toolbar
- Click Text Size on the View menu and select the text size you require
You should now notice a change in the size of the text.
Alternatively, if you have a scroll mouse:
Hold down the Control Key (Ctrl) on your keyboard and scroll up or down depending on whether you want the text size larger or smaller (this may not work on all web pages).
Change the Text Style
- Click Tools on the toolbar
- Then click on Internet Options
- Click Fonts
- Choose your required font and click on OK
- Click Accessibility
- Check the top 3 boxes, ensuring a small green tick is displayed in each box
- Then click on OK
The style of the font should have changed to your preferred font
Change the Text/Background Colour
- Click Tools on the toolbar
- Click on Internet Options
- Click Colours
- Click on Use Windows Colours to ensure the box is not ticked
- To change the text/background colour, click on Text or Background, a colour chart will be displayed
- Click on you colour preference and the click OK to finish.
The colour of the text and/background should have changed to your preferred colour
