We are currently looking for a highly motivated and enthusiastic MPhil student to probe into the nano-engineering of a novel zero, one and two-dimensional nanomaterial for nanotechnology-enabled applications. The project is focussed on the synthesis, formulate and manipulate the advanced nanostructured materials for charge storage system (supercapacitor) and green environmental solutions. The student has the potential to advance to the PhD level under the project.
The successful candidate shall be provided with tuition-fee waiver and monthly stipend of RM2,000.
The applicant is expected to meet the following requirements:
- Possess undergraduate degree (second upper and above) in Material Science, Material Engineering, Physics, Chemistry or other related discipline.
- Good command of English, both spoken and written
- Candidate with knowledge in nanoscience and nanotechnology will be an added advantage, although it is not a pre-requisite.
- Preference will be given to candidate with prior experience in analytical science, electrochemistry and laboratory works.
