Pang Ee Leen, a PhD student from the School of Biosciences, among the three winners, has received The University of Nottingham Postgraduate Prize Awards 2016 in recognition of her accomplishments in research (publications, conferences and awards) as well as contribution to the postgraduate community. The prize included a cheque amounting RM750 along with a certificate and had been presented to Ee Leen by Professor Graham Kendall, Vice-Provost of Research and Knowledge Transfer on 14th April 2016.
Under the supervision of Professor Sandy Loh, Ee Leen is now at her early third year of study and she will continue to work towards the potential vaccine development in a safe and cost-effective plant platform against Dengue disease which possesses a global significance.
