The following provisions have been made for additional study areas during the study and exam period for Semester 1 (Foundation/UG/PGT) with effect from 2nd December 2019:
1. Learning@Foundation and Learning@TheCore will be extending their opening hours earlier, effective from 2 Dec 2019, to facilitate students’ preparation for Foundation Exams, as well as the submission of assignments, coursework and group presentations for UG students. Please refer to table below for dates and times of the extended hours.
2. Library extended opening hours:
Between 16th December 2019 and 17th January 2020 (Week 15 to Week 19) the library opening hours are as follows:
Monday to Friday: 8.30 a.m. to 2.00 a.m.
Saturday and Sunday: 10.00 a.m. to 12 midnight
Please note that The Library, Learning@Foundation & Learning@The Core will be closed on:
- 25 December 2019 for Christmas Day
- 1 January 2020 for New Year’s Day.
During the extended opening hours, the Customer Services counter will be closed, and no staff-assisted lending services, or cash transactions may be carried out.
Please be reminded that Level A in the Library is strictly for silent reading. For group discussions, please use the meeting rooms and the reading areas in the Learning Hubs.

Please be considerate and observe the rules and regulations when using the library, learning spaces, seminar rooms and computer rooms.
Security guards, library staff and student advisers will be patrolling the area regularly and they are empowered to enforce discipline on any student(s) found to be noisy or misusing any equipment in the rooms during this period.
