Library System's Offline Period (8 April – 15 April 2019)

There will be some temporary changes to library services during the final week (8 April to 15 April) of the library’s online system migration.

As there may be a few unexpected issues which may arise during the migration, we ask for your patience during the library system’s downtime.

From 8 April – 15 April

1. No hold requests for printed books will be allowed. If you have any unfulfilled hold requests before 8 April, you will need to create a new hold request in the new library system from 16 April 2019 onwards.
2. No interlibrary loan (ILL) online requests through UNMCLOC. Please send any ILL request to ill@nottingham.edu.my   

 From 12 April – 15 April

1. Borrowing and returning of library items will be done manually at the Customer Services Counter. The Self-Check machine will be switched off. Returned items during this period cannot be re-borrowed until 16 April 2019.
2. UNMCLOC will be discontinued. Access to http://library.nottingham.edu.my will be redirected to https://nusearch.nottingham.edu.my
3. NUsearch will be on read-only mode during this period. You will not be able to do online renewals. However, you will still be able to access online resources as normal.
4. Booking for all meeting rooms in The Library and Learning@The Core have to be booked manually at the respective Customer Services Counter.
5. There will be no email on all library notices.
6. Your library account will be temporarily frozen, and any item loans/returns will not be updated until 16 April 2019.
