Dr Kah Mun currently holds the role of an assistant professor of finance at Nottingham University Business School. She completed her PhD in Finance at the University of Nottingham Malaysia (UNM), focusing on behavioural finance. Before her doctoral journey, Dr Kah Mun pursued her educational foundation with a Bachelor of Arts (BA) and a Master of Science (MSc) in Finance and Investment from Sheffield Hallam University (SHU).

Her current study is dedicated to comprehending the psychological factors, cultural and societal factors that shape how investors make decisions, identifying unusual market patterns, and unravelling how behavioural biases affect the effectiveness of financial markets. She is also keen on exploring how AI shapes and transforms the dynamics of the financial market.
