Biography

Ho Ying Chan is Assistant Professor at the School of Politics and International Relations, University of Nottingham Malaysia Campus. He was previously Chairperson of the Centre for International Studies at Universiti Tunku Abdul Rahman. He holds a PhD in International and Political Studies from the University of New South Wales at the Australian Defence Force Academy and a Master's Degree in Public Policy from the Lee Kuan Yew School of Public Policy, National University of Singapore.

Dr. Ho's research focuses on the Politics of Identity, Malaysia's External Relations, Malaysia's Politics and International Relations of Southeast Asia.

Teaching Summary

Dr. Ho's teaching and learning interests include International Relations of Southeast Asia, Nationalism, and the Politics of China.

Research Summary

Dr. Ho is currently working on a research project on Malaysia-Singapore Relations.
