Assistant Professor Guy Burton recently gave a guest lecture at Defiance College in the American state of Ohio on the subject of the Arab-Israeli conflict. Dr Burton was invited to give the lecture during his recent trip to the United States, where he participated in the annual Midwest Political Science Association conference.Dr Burton provided an introduction to the Arab-Israeli conflict by highlighting five key dates around which the principal causes of the conflict and the wider context could be understood. Defiance College is a liberal arts college of just over 1000 students based in the town of Defiance, in the northwest part of Ohio state.
