They also delved into what this means for future graduates. Watch the full interview here.
“AI is shaping the future of industries, education, and society as a whole,” said Dr Chen. “Being able to discuss its impact on a widely viewed stage was both exciting and meaningful.”

Dr Chen highlighted the importance of preparing the next generation to meet these changes head-on, especially as AI continues to evolve. She emphasised that early exposure and understanding of ethical AI practices will empower youth to make informed decisions and build resilient, future-ready careers.
Joining her on the panel was BSc in Computer Science student Yeo Yi Xin, a top-performing student and JPA scholar who has made her mark through research, internships, and hands-on projects in AI. She was selected to represent the student voice due to her passion for technology and her ability to articulate complex ideas in a way that resonates with her peers.
