The play - You, Me and the Big C

The 105-minute play centres around Amy, a modern woman who dreams of becoming a ballroom dancing champion. Life takes a turn when she discovers a lump in her breast.

With her teenage daughter Mia as her source of support, Amy navigates their lives with her cancer diagnosis. As the diagnosis affects all aspects of their lives, the mother-daughter duo navigates the many challenges life poses to and inevitably strengthens their relationship.

Co-written by Terence Toh and Joe Hasham as the director and supported by Klpac and the Ministry of Tourism, Culture and Arts (MOTAC), audiences have described You, Me and the Big C as moving, eye-opening and gut-wrenching.

UNM organised a ticket giveaway for its staff and students. Participants had to share an inspiring story about a professor of their choice at UNM on the university’s Facebook page. The top eight comments with the highest number of ‘Likes’ were given tickets to the play.
