About the speaker
Eytan Oren is the CEO of Block Party, a messaging app consultancy that helps media owners, brands, agencies, and celebrities build strategy and creative campaigns for platforms like Snapchat, Kik, Viber, LINE, and Tango. Clients include The New York Times, iHeartMedia, Global Poverty Project, and Purpose. Eytan recently led several groundbreaking messaging app marketing campaigns– including One Direction on Kik, and the first live stream concert on a chat app for Global Citizen Festival. He also co-authored “Messaging Apps: The New Face of Social Media and What It Means For Brands” - a 28-page guide for marketers on how to creatively build audiences and campaigns on chat platforms. His messaging app work has been featured in Fast Company, Advertising Age, Adweek, and Billboard Magazine. He hold a degree in music from Columbia University, and has also held positions at Google and IPG Media Lab.
