If you answer yes to any of the questions above then the Learning Centre Project team are here to support you. The Learning Centre @ UNMC is a project supported by UNMC’s Teaching and Learning Funding Scheme. Our role is to provide academic and study skills support to help you make the most of your time at the University of Nottingham Malaysia Campus. Our workshops and one-to-one sessions are designed to complement the support and advice that Schools and Departments provide throughout their courses. Please do check what is on offer in your School.

We can help you with advice about the following ares of study:

• General study strategies
• Dissertations and projects
• Maths and numerical skills
• Presentations and posters
• Reading strategies and support
• Referencing, bibliographies and avoiding plagiarism
• Revision and examinations
• Time management
• Writing – essays, assignments, dissertations etc

Learning Centre consultations should be used to talk about writing for assignments, reports etc. This is not a proofreading service, nor should you expect to have your work done for you by the tutor.
