Dr. Daniel Schoch is an invited speaker at the Fifth International Conference of the Thailand Econometric Society which will take place at the Faculty of Economics, Chiang Mai University, Thailand, from January 12-13, 2012. There will be about 40 participants from Thailand, China, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Vietnam, USA, Australia, and Canada.
Title of Dr. Schoch's paper is “Generalized Mean-Risk Preferences” and he will speak about how people make investment decisions when balancing expected profit with the risk. In particular, how people might use their own risk measurements to evaluate portfolios.
