• Should a central bank try to stabilise the exchange rate?
• How should we evaluate a policy if it benefits some segments of the society at the expense of the others?
• Should we adopt a policy if it has beneficial effect in the short run but detrimental effect in the long run?

My research looks into the interplay of different variables simultaneously at the macroeconomic level, especially the nature of business cycles and the optimal design of monetary policy.
