Biography
Frederique (Fred) is currently Interim Dean of the Business School at the University of Nottingham Malaysia.
She was previously Deputy Associate Pro-Vice Chancellor for Education and Student Experience in the Faculty of Social Sciences and Associate Dean for Education and Student Experience at Nottingham University Business School (UK) where she lead a suite of activities aimed at improving teaching quality and student experience, including a full curriculum review of programmes at all levels and professionalisation of assessment related activities and tutoring.
Prior to joining the University of Nottingham, Fred spent 10 years at RMIT University Vietnam first as an accounting lecturer at undergraduate and postgraduate level and then as a Senior academic developer in the Learning and Teaching unit . Before that, she was an accounting practitioner in France and Vietnam.
Fred holds a PhD in Business, a MBA (Education), a MSc in Accounting and Finance and a Graduate Certificate in Tertiary Teaching and Learning. She won three university teaching excellence awards including two Lord Dearing Awards and holds Senior Fellowship of Advance HE.
