Dato’ Howard Choo, DSAP, MBA, ACIS, FIPA, FCIA, is Managing Director & Chief Executive Officer of IBH Investment Bank Limited. Dato' Choo is a Financial Services expert with 30 years in local and international banking. He is a Former Executive Director of DBS Thai Danu Bank Thailand and Managing Director of DBS Bank. He is also the Ex Vice-Chairman of the Singapore-Thai Chamber of Commerce and Member of the Executive Decision Panel, Bank of Thailand. Dato' Choo is an Adviser to University Malaysia Sabah (UMS) and University Malaysia Sarawak (UNIMAS) in International Business. He is a Former Adviser to the Persatuan Usahawan Muda Malaysia (PUMM), a former Council member of the MCA SME Development Bureau.
Dato' Choo is a Fellow of the Institute of Public Accountants, Australia (FIPA) and holds MBAs from University of Wales and Manchester Business School. he is an Associate member of the Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators (ACIS). He is a Trainer for the South East Asia Central Bank Training Centre (SEACEN) and author of several books on Banking and Finance. He is also a Tutor for Wawasan Open University in International Financial Management and Corporate Finance, and is an Education Committee Member of the Asian Institute of Chartered Bankers (AICB). Dato' Choo is a member of the Implementation Task Force of the Asian Banking School (ABS). He is also an examiner in Advanced Corporate Finance for the ICIA.
