Dr Chuen-Khee Pek, Senior University Teaching Fellow of Green Economics, has recently been awarded the professional title of “GE” Green Economist by the Green Economics Institute, UK, during the Green Economics Institute's 10th Anniversary Green Economics Conference 2015, held from 22-25 March 2015 at Trinity College, University of Oxford. Dr Pek wrote three professional letters in a three-hour examination during the 9th Annual conference of the Institute in July 2014 held at the Oxford University, Department of Earth Sciences. The certificate presentation ceremony was presided by The Right Worshipful Deputy Lord Major of Oxford, Councillor Craig Simmons [R in photo putting on The Chain of Office]. In the anniversary conference of the Institute, Pek presented a paper entitled, “Are Malaysians willing-to-pay for agricultural multifunctionality? A fundamental study” and was also invited to speak in two other separate sessions on the green movement in Malaysia and cross-examining agricultural sustainability between Brazil and Malaysia.
