Nottingham University Business School Malaysia was invited by HSBC to participate in the HSBC Business Case Competition held in Kuala Lumpur in April 2014. Four business school undergraduate students, Jing Yang Tan, Chun Keat Len, Chloe Sin Yin Yap and Geraldine Hui San Liew were selected to represent The University of Nottingham Malaysia Campus to compete with the other seven established universities in the country.

The UNMC Team won their entries into the semi-final and final competitions, which were held on the same day
(17 April 2014). After 12 gruelling hours of intense competition, the team emerged as the First Runner-Up, bringing home a cash prize of MYR10,000.00 and trophies.
The team was mentored by Assistant Professor Dr Kenny Wong Meng Seng and supported by other academics. NUBS Malaysia would like to convey our heartiest congratulations to the UNMC Team for such a fine achievement.
