Inter-Campus Staff Mobility Fund sparks teaching discussion and research collaborations

The Inter-Campus Staff Mobility Fund supports visits by our academic staff to the University’s other campuses for teaching and learning development, and research collaboration. Dr Chuen-Khee Pek, Assistant Professor in Environmetrics, recently visited the University’s home campus in Nottingham, UK.

Pek was hosted by his two counterparts, Dr Thorsten Chmura, Professor in Behavioural and Experimental Economics and Dr Cher Li, Associate Professor in Industrial Economics at the Jubilee Campus. Pek had very fruitful discussions on the teaching and learning pedagogies of the modules convened by him and his UK counterparts, and also developed plans for immediate research collaboration. Thorsten and Cher commended the intellectual competence and hard-working work ethic of our Malaysian students who are in the School’s mobility and transfer programmes in the UK campus.
