Dr Mohamed Khaled Omar, Associate Professor of Operations Management at Nottingham University Business School Malaysia, was recently appointed as a Fellow of the Operational Research (OR) Society, UK.
A Fellowship of the OR Society is awarded to those with a significant record of achievement extending over ten years or more in the area of operational research, and indicates a very high level of achievement in, and/or a major contribution to operational research, including periods in Masters level training, practice, management, research or education.
Dr Mohamed Khaled Omar's research interests are in operations research and operations management. Specifically, his research areas include scheduling and sequencing, production planning and control, mathematical modelling, simulation modelling, forecasting, applications of Analytical Hierarchical Processing (AHP) in decision science, and fuzzy linear programming.
