The inaugural collaborative event between the University of Nottingham Malaysia Campus and the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA) Malaysia Division on 27 March 2008 saw the launching of the CIMA 1st collaboration and the presentation of the CIMA Book Prize Award to high achievers in Management Accounting modules offered by Nottingham University Business School Malaysia. This was followed by the CIMA-Shell Career Talk, where students had the opportunity to learn more about CIMA, and on career opportunities in finance operations.
The recipients of the CIMA Book Prize Award for the academic year 2006-07 are Mr Ayaz Latif (for the module Management Accounting & Decisions I), Ms Sujani Shanika Samarakoon (Management Accounting & Decisions II), and joint recipients Ms Wong Mon Fong and Ms Vishalini Vijayarajan for Management Accounting & Decisions III.
