NUBS Malaysia academic appointed as consultant to the Asian Development Bank

Associate Professor Salleh Hassan, Associate Professor of Accounting at Nottingham University Business School Malaysia, was appointed by the Asian Development Bank (ADB) as a consultant on an ADB project, Promoting an Interlinked ASEAN Capital Market.

Salleh joins four other experts in the project, which comes under the purview of the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) through the ASEAN Capital Market Forum and the ASEAN Secretariat. The project aims to address implementation issues related to the integration of the ASEAN regional capital market, and is co-financed by the Investment Climate Facilitation Fund under the Regional Cooperation and Integration Financing Partnership Facility, and the Republic of Korea e-Asia and Knowledge Partnership Fund.

Salleh's research interests lie in reporting of business and financial performance including that of corporate governance and CSR. He is a member of the University of Nottingham Malaysia Campus' Learning and Teaching Committee and the Business School's Research Committee.
