The Nottingham University Business School Malaysia (NUBS) Industry Advisory Board (IAB) provides strategic advice to support the Business School’s current development and future activities.
Board members include distinguished business leaders in the region that help to develop strong links with businesses, organisations and policymakers and to ensure the continuing relevance of the School’s programmes and activities.
Several members of our IAB are also part of the NUBS Global Advisory Board which comprises two or three members from each of the IABs of NUBS UK, China and Malaysia respectively, plus up to four co-opted members.

Ms Agnes Lim Geok-Ching - Team Head, Corporate Banking, RHB Bank Singapore
Agnes Lim is an experienced Banking & Finance professional with a demonstrated history of working in the banking, commerce and audit & business advisory sectors.
A qualified professional accountant by training, Agnes, who is both a CPA (Malaysian Institute of Certified Public Accountants) and Chartered Accountant (Malaysian Institute of Accountants), started her career in audit and business advisory in Price Waterhouse in Malaysia. She was the Group Financial Controller of a listed group of companies involved in property development and construction activities and has an established career in the Corporate and Investment Banking industry, having worked both domestically and regionally in Singapore in major banking groups such as CIMB, DBS Bank Singapore and RHB Bank Singapore.
She holds an MBA (Distinction) degree from the University of Nottingham and was awarded the Ernst & Young Best MBA Dissertation Award 2004/2005.

Dato' Gan Ah Tee - Regional Senior Partner and Managing Partner, BDO Malaysia
Dato’ Gan is the Managing Partner of BDO in Malaysia. With over 35 years’ experience in auditing, accounting and financial advisory, he specialises in corporate turnaround and financial restructuring of under-performing companies, and has extensive experience in the field of corporate finance and advisory assignments. Dato’ Gan is a Council Member of ICAEW and a member of the Worshipful Company of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales. He is a member of the Financial Reporting Foundation (FRF), a trustee body responsible for the oversight of the Malaysian Accounting Standard Board's (MASB) performance, financial and funding arrangements, and as an initial source of views for the MASB on proposed standards and pronouncements.Presently, he serves as the Vice President and Council Member of MICPA, where he is also Chairman of its Insolvency Practice Committee (IPC). He is a member of MIA’s Council as well as its IPC’s Chairman. Dato’ Gan sits on the Industrial Advisory Board for the Professional Accounting Programme of Sunway College.
Dr Jasmine Begum - Director, Legal, Government and Corporate Affairs, Microsoft ASEAN & New Markets
Dr. Jasmine Begum, Director of Legal, Corporate & Government Affairs for ASEAN and New Markets. Based in Kuala Lumpur, Jasmine has held this role since 2010, where she oversees corporate affairs, government relations and policy engagement as well as philanthropies for Microsoft businesses in in the ASEAN region.
Jasmine joined Microsoft with over 20 years of award-winning experience that uniquely straddles both legal/policy engagement and communications, that included leadership and regional stints at companies such as Dell Malaysia, the United Nations Development Program, the United Nations Executive Office of the Secretary-General in New York as well as having been a corporate litigator.
Jasmine has broad educational qualifications, having completed a double degree in law at the International Islamic University in Kuala Lumpur. Jasmine then pursued post-graduate studies in both Law and Communications in the UK and earned her Ph.D. in business and human rights.
Mr Jitinder Magoon - Strategic Client Business Development Leader, Integrated Healthcare and Life Sciences, IBM Malaysia Sdn Bhd
Mr Jitinder Magoon is a strong leader and a strategic thinker with over 30 years’ experience in managing high-level healthcare industry with proven track record of meeting and exceeding targets. He has held various leadership positions with leading healthcare MNCs like General Electric, Philips, Hewlett-Packard and IBM. He possesses strong interpersonal and excellent communication skills with great ability to enhance relationships, interact with top management, stakeholders and workforce to achieve overall corporate objectives.
An excellent problem solver, resourceful and flexible solution provider who thrives on challenges. Passionate to deliver leadership and operational excellence and contribute towards a healthier world to drive efficiencies and effectiveness in the organization. Ms Molly Fong - Chief Executive Officer, The Body Shop Malaysia, Vietnam and Cambodia / Rampai-Niaga Sdn Bhd
Molly Fong achieved her Master of Business Administration in 2011 from the University of Nottingham and was named Malaysia Campus 2013 'Alumnus of the Year' at the Alumni Laureate award ceremony held in Kuala Lumpur on 28th September 2013.
Molly is currently the Executive Director and Chief Executive Officer of InNature Berhad, which through its subsidiaries, operates the franchise for The Body Shop in Malaysia, Vietnam and Cambodia. Molly is currently responsible for the overall strategic direction and management of the business operations of the group.
Throughout her 25-year tenure with the company, her management experience includes retail operations, marketing, commercial, visual communications, business development, etc. Molly led the team in starting up operations in Vietnam in 2009, and again in Cambodia in 2019. She also led the team in acquiring the franchise for a new brand, Natura, which began its operations in Malaysia in October 2019.
Molly’s belief that business can be a force for good remains steadfast, as she continues to ensure that engendering positive social and environmental change remains high on the agenda, whilst charting the path for growth of the company.
Dr Simon Lord - Chief Sustainability Officer, Sime Darby Plantation Berhad
Dr Lord is the Chief Sustainability Officer for Sime Darby Plantation Berhad. He was previously the Director of Sustainability for New Britain Palm Oil and the Director of Research. Dr Lord began his career with Unilever PLC and has over 34 years experience in the agriculture commodities sector. Dr Lord has held appointments on the Board of RSPO and numerous NGO initiatives.
Datin Sunita Mei Lin Rajakumar - Chairperson, Caring Pharmacy; Founder, Malaysian Chapter of the World Economic Forum Climate Governance Initiative
Datin Sunita is a strong advocate of governance. She is Chairperson of Caring Pharmacy and independent director of Dutch Lady Milk Industries, MCIS Insurance and Zurich General Insurance. She recently founded the Malaysian Chapter of World Economic Forum’s Climate Governance Initiative. Her legal degree from the University of Bristol, professional qualification as a Chartered Accountant, led to 9 years in investment banking, after which she managed the first government-owned foreign technology venture capital fund and advised on national innovation ecosystems. She is a staunch proponent of the importance of creativity and imagination in individuals to fulfil their potential.
