Thank you for your interest in the School of Pharmacy. We are excited about the opportunity to get to know you and looking forward to welcoming you.

  

We currently offer two undergraduate courses, the BSc Pharmaceutical and Health Sciences and our popular 2+2 MPharm degree in Pharmacy. Both degrees cover a diverse range of pharmaceutical topics including the study of disease-causing micro-organisms, synthesis of drugs, manufacture of medicines and the effects that drugs have on the body.  

 

As experts in medicines and drug therapy, our MPharm graduates can pursue a career as a licensed pharmacist and our degree opens up the possibility of practising as a pharmacist in the UK, Malaysia and the many other countries that recognise the UK MPharm degree. Graduates of either degree can embark on a range of careers including research in pharmaceutical, cosmetic, chemical or biotechnology industries; medical sales and marketing; scientific writing and beyond. 

 
I am very proud of the excellent team of lecturers that we have here in the School of Pharmacy at the Malaysia Campus. Indeed, one of our Pharmacy lecturers, Dr. Christophe Wiart – an expert in medicinal plants, recently took part in the HBO Emmy-award winning VICE documentary series.
