FAQs
Does UNM offer fixed tuition fees? Why is this important?
Yes, we offer fixed tuition fees, ensuring there are no surprises for students and parents! This allows you to plan your budget confidently without worrying about annual tuition fee increments.
Here’s how it works:
- Locked in at your year of entry: If you join Foundation in 2025, you will pay the 2025 undergraduate (UG) fees when you progress to UG in 2026.
- No yearly increments: When you join UG in 2026, you will continue paying the same 2026 fee for all your years of study.
This unique offering ensures financial stability and predictability, unlike some other universities that may increase fees annually.
Exceptions to fixed fees:
- If you do not progress to UG immediately after completing Foundation.
- If you transfer to the UK campus or enroll in a 2+2 programme
What does the fee cover? Does it include accommodation and meals?
No. The tuition fee does not include costs such as accommodation and meals. Learn more on our
accommodation page for detailed information about student housing costs and options.
Are there any scholarships or financial aid options available to help offset the tuition fees?
Can I pay my tuition fees in instalments?
The fee is payable on a per year basis. However, for more information, visit our
fee payment page.
Are there additional fees for international students apart from the university fee in Malaysia?
International students may need to incur some additional costs such as visa, immigration fees, travel costs, health insurance, and potential exchange rate fluctuations. It is suggested to budget for these costs while planning your enrolment.
Is there a refund policy if I decide to withdraw from the programme?
The specifics of tuition fee refunds in case of a programme withdrawal are outlined in the university's
refund policy. It is recommended to consult this policy directly or contact the university's administration department for detailed information.
